Bio
Art and I met when I was a child.
In 2002 I made her my scholastic venture when I dove into studying and learning as much about art , and her place in my life at Oregon College of Art & Craft. In 2006 I graduated from OCAC with a BFA in Painting and Drawing, and no idea what art and I would do next.
Art is a jealous friend, and we have grown apart at times. Art does not like to share you with others. With family, work and furry little animals around it is forever a challenge to spend time with art.
I am a Mom and a wife. My family supports me in all my creative ventures. My husband creates art with me, he is a book carver and we have made some lovely collaborative works! Our daughter loves fashion design and baking, she says "Desserts are my passion", so we eat a lot of sweet treats in our home and we have a little baby boy named Blue who will no doubt be up to great things!
I have always painted not because it pays the bills (because usually...it does not), I paint because I love to paint. With my business Art School Studio, I am fortunate enough to make art my business and share the excitement of creating a work of art in a fun and playful way with children and adults.
